Happy 80th Birthday to our founder and owner

July 29th, 2013 Comments off

Today, July 29th 2013 our owner and founder David H. Wilson turned 80 years old.
Over 30 years ago Mr. Wilson opened this company with one goal in mind. That goal was to bring reasonably priced mobile home and R/V parts to Tuscaloosa and surrounding areas. Little did he know what starting this “little business” would evolve into and after 30 years when an issue arises with a mobile home, or a part that no one has ever seen comes in, everyone knows you can ask Alabama Dave and he most likely will know the answer.
Since I was a young boy I remember being so happy to get to “go work with PawPaw”. I will always remember and be thankful that I was one of the lucky few he passed this passion and knowledge on to, for he lessons he taught me and for the example he was and still is to me.

From All Employees, Family, Friend and Customers,

Happy 80th Birthday Mr. Wilson!!

A Mascot Gone

August 20th, 2012 1 comment

I hate to be the one to inform the public of this sad development. For many years now, over 17 we have had a black and white cat named "Tyson" as our unofficial mascot. Many of our customers have came by and held the "big cat" and had pictures made. Around a month ago his weight started dropping from the 40 pounds he had been to almost half of that. This morning (August 20, 2012) he was found by the owner and had passed away. Tyson had became family to us and a friend to many of our customers and he will be missed greatly. When we found him he was but a small kitten, out in a trash van who the ants and wasps had stung. After taking him to the veterinarian and having him fixed he became a regular fixture in the company, greeting customer and keeping the building free of mice and other vermin. He will be severely missed by all who came in contact with him. We are all thankful for the 16-17 years that we were given with him.
